The Health & Nutrition Officer role focuses on helping design, plan, monitor, and evaluate Health & Nutrition programs in various states. It involves offering technical support to integrate these programs with other sectors, and fostering partnerships to create innovative solutions for maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition. The position also emphasizes ensuring the sustainability of interventions, promoting community involvement, and applying a Human Rights-Based Approach.
UNICEF Health & Nutrition Officer Recruitment
- A HND or bachelor degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Nutritional Epidemiology, Global / International Health and Nutrition, Health / Nutrition Research, Policy and/or Management, Health Sciences, Nutritional Epidemiology, or another health-related science field.
- The candidate should have at least two years of experience in health and nutrition programs, especially in adolescent health, RMCH, and nutrition in emergency contexts. Experience with the UN or other international development organizations is a plus.
- Able to communicate in English and location languages
