The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has opened the Chief Field Officer post to oversee UNICEF’s programs across three states in northeast Nigeria. The CFO represents UNICEF in the region, leads program and operations teams, and ensures quality results align with UNICEF’s country program goals and vision.
Requirement for UNICEF Chief Field Officer
- gradated from Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Administration, Government and Public Relations, Public or Social Policy, Sociology, Social or Community Development, or another relevant technical field.
- having 10+ years of experience in program management and related areas. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and balancing development with humanitarian needs are key. Experience in emergencies, developing countries, or the UN system is a plus.
- able to communicate in English and the local language
